We are currently looking for anOperationsSpecialist and Showroom Sales professional to join our team and play a vital role in our operations and sales. We are looking for someone who will be able to help coordinate our Brooklyn showroom's day-to-day operations, handle order fulfillment, and host showroom appointments with experience in adesign-architecture showroom environment.
We would need this person to be able to represent our brand to the high standards that we maintain in our products, our customer service, and our client relations. This position is for someone who wants to grow with our company and add their energy and creativity to the team.
This full-time position is based out of Color Atelier's Brooklyn Showroom, at the Industry City. The environment is fun, and creative with lots of shops, and restaurants around, and also within short walking distance of public transportation.

Rate of Pay:Depending on experience, $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
Hours of work and days:Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m
Work Location:In person
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing orders by tinting paints and plasters, and preparing for shipment.
- Host showroom appointments, providing the absolute best customer service experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and be capable of giving expert color, finish, and design advice.
- Standard retail procedures and payment processing.
- Manage and build new and existing client relationships.
- Answersales and customer service phone calls, as needed.
- Take customer orders through various methods (email, phone, in-person) and process through point-of-sale.
- Communicate daily with the San Francisco showroom to coordinate shipments andmanage product inventory.
- Willing to jump in when and where needed.
- Organize inventory and stock items.
- Clean and maintain all areas of store and equipment as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Product handling (over 60 lbs).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous related work experience in adesign-architecture showroom, and / or building, construction material experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to take the extra steps needed to exceed our clients' expectations.
- Displaying a willingness to work with all team members and assist all customers in the showroom.
- Developing extensive knowledge across our products.
- Manage time wisely, work independently, and be a self-motivating proactive worker.
- Four years of High School with a diploma or Bachelor's degree.
